These are the recommended Streamlabs settings for any high end PC however each computer varies a lot. That should be you good to go with high quality streaming setting in Streamlabs. If viewers are on mobile you will want them to stick around and not just leave because they don’t have the bandwidth for your stream.įor Downscale filter you should select Bicubic (Sharpened scaling, 16 Samples). This means that viewers with slower internet are still able to watch your stream without any lag. While your PC and internet can probably handle 1080p its actually more beneficial to stream in 720p. I would recommend setting your Output Scaled Resolution to 1280×720.

If you do play in a higher resolution such as 1440p you can set your base canvas resolution to that but most streamers play their games in 1080p to get higher performance. You’ll generally want to set this to 1920×1080 especially if this is the resolution you’re playing your game in. The first thing you want to do is set your Base Canvas resolution in Streamlabs OBS.
